Founded by François Havegeer and Sacha Léopold, the publishing house Empire sees itself as an extension of the activities related to imagery, graphic design, and artist relations undertaken by the Syndicat studio.
Through numerous collaborations in the cultural sphere, the publishing house strives to place the issues of image reproduction, documentation, and circulation at the forefront through catalogues, monographs, theoretical works, journals, posters, and reissues.
Empire books also publish Revue Faire.
